Coverage built for people without a boss.

When you left W-2, nobody handed you a benefits package. I put one back together, health, life, and the gaps in between. For people who pay for it themselves.

The problem

You're probably paying for a deductible you'll never hit.

A six to nine thousand dollar deductible means the plan doesn't kick in until you're already buried in bills. You pay every month and touch almost none of it.

For most healthy self-employed people that year never comes. And when the enhanced subsidies expired, a lot of people found out exactly what that arrangement costs.

There's another side of the market most people have never been shown. Some of it is real insurance, some of it isn't, and that difference matters more than anything else on this page. I'll show you both and tell you plainly which is which.

Check your discount

Would the marketplace give you a discount?

The enhanced subsidies expired, and for 2026 there's a hard income cutoff again. Two numbers tell you which side of it you're on.

Estimate from the 2026 federal income limits for the 48 states and DC (Alaska and Hawaii run higher). The marketplace makes the official call. Nothing here is a quote, a price, or a guarantee of eligibility.

Who I work with

One niche, not a little of everything.

Self-employed and 1099 contractors who lost employer benefits and never replaced them properly.
Small business owners whose shop is too small to make a group plan work.
People coming off ACA plans who got hit when the enhanced subsidies expired.
Anyone with a deductible they'll never realistically meet who pays the premium anyway.
How I work

Three things worth knowing before you call.

You don't pay me. The carrier does. Your premium is the same number it would be if you enrolled direct without me.

I'll tell you when to stay put. If you qualify for a strong subsidized marketplace plan (healthcare.gov), that's usually the right answer and I'll say so and help you enroll there. I'd rather lose the sale than sell you the wrong thing.

I'm independent. Not captive to one carrier, so the comparison is real.
